When Kenichi Nakatani announced his three-dimensional work "Glitch Tanuki" on his SNS, it received a lot of attention, with more than 100,000 favorites on Twitter. The motif used is a Shigaraki-yaki raccoon dog figurine, which has been popular for its good luck but has not been seen recently. This is boldly reconfigured in three-dimensional expression, and digital obstacles such as noise and screen disturbances, "glitch effects," are incorporated into the technique of the work.<\/p>\n

In this exhibition, in addition to his masterpiece "Glitch Tanuki", various three-dimensional art such as "Effect Maneki Neko" and "Brick Bear" will be introduced. In addition, the title "Kyowai Mingei" is an attempt by the artist to convey his intentions by changing the shape while distorting the void after a long period of time. .
