Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store's art gallery, "Artglorieux GALLERY OF TOKYO," located on the 5th floor of GINZA SIX, will host "Veil – Beyond Silence," a joint exhibition by Masaki Matsuura and Ayame Higuchi, exploring the charm of contemporary Japanese painting through the themes of "negative space" and "life."<\/p>\n

This exhibition presents Japanese paintings by Masayuki Matsuura and Ayame Higuchi. Higuchi explores the inner workings of humanity and the essence of life through plants and animals, depicting questions lurking in contemporary society. Matsuura, on the other hand, uses bonsai as her subject matter to express the "beauty of negative space," the "beauty of time," and the coexistence of nature and humanity. The works of these two artists, with their differing perspectives, quietly reflect the truth and spirituality that lies beyond what is visible.
