Agn\u00e8s b. will open a new flagship store, "Agn\u00e8s b. Matsuya Ginza," in the Matsuya Ginza Namiki-dori building in Tokyo on Friday, October 9, 2026.<\/p>\n

Since its founding in 1975, agn\u00e8s b. has engaged with a wide range of cultures and values, not only in fashion, but also in art, music, film, photography, food, and social and environmental initiatives. The manufacturing and numerous activities carried out over many years based on the curiosity and values \u200b\u200bof founder Agn\u00e8s Troubl\u00e9 are all indispensable to the world of agn\u00e8s b. At the new Ginza store, each of these is treated as a "puzzle piece that makes up agn\u00e8s b.," and scattered throughout the store. We propose a new experience in which visitors can touch each piece, encounter a new side of agn\u00e8s b., and learn more about its background and story, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the agn\u00e8s b. brand.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Agn\u00e8s b. is known as a lover of various forms of contemporary art, including photography and graffiti. Since opening Galerie du Jour, a unique gallery in Paris, in 1984, she has supported young artists and collected works by various artists. Agn\u00e8s's passion for art is reflected in her collection of "artist T-shirts," which have featured many artists every season since 1994. The Ginza store will exhibit works by JonOne, among others, which are on display at the Agn\u00e8s b. Matsuya Ginza Rue du Jour store (scheduled to be open until October 4th, 2026). Furthermore, denim, one of the "workwear" elements that continues to be an inspiration for agn\u00e8s b.'s collections, also includes Made-in-Japan items. Introducing "Fukiyose," our first collaboration original confection. A small, round white tin is filled with white fu-yaki (baked wheat gluten), star-shaped unpei (a type of sweet), and rakugan (a type of Japanese confection) adorned with the character for chrysanthemum. A matcha-colored fan and konpeito (sugar candy) represent Japanese aesthetics and the joy of shopping in Ginza. This original tin, exclusive to the agn\u00e8s b.
