Creation Gallery G8 (Ginza, Tokyo) will hold "JAGDA New Face Award Exhibition 2021 Toru Kase, Ryuichi Kawajiri, Shin Kubota". This exhibition is presented to promising graphic designers who are expected to be active in the future from among the exhibitors of the yearbook "Graphic Design in Japan" published by the Japan Graphic Designers Association (abbreviated as JAGDA). This is an exhibition by the winners.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Japan Graphic Designers Association (abbreviated as JAGDA), which was established in 1978, is currently the largest design organization in Asia with about 3,000 members, and publishes the yearbook "Graphic Design in Ja pan" and exhibits and seminars. We are engaged in various activities to improve the communication environment through design, such as holding events, design education, initiatives for public design and regional development, and international exchange.<\/p>\n

In addition, every year, the "JAGDA New Face Award" is awarded to promising graphic designers (39 years old or younger) who are expected to be active in the future from among the exhibitors of "Graphic Design in Japan". Since 1983, this award has produced 116 designers who are now active on the front lines as a gateway to designers, and has attracted the attention of design and advertising professionals.<\/p>\n

This time, which is the 39th time, three people, Toru Kase, Ryuichi Kawajiri, and Shin Kubota, were selected as a result of strict selection from the 139 newcomer award recipients. In this exhibition, three award-winning works and recent works will be exhibited, focusing on posters and products.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Kase Toru<\/strong>
Born in 1987. Born in Saitama prefecture. Graduated from Rikkyo University Faculty of Business Administration, Department of International Business Administration in 2010, and graduated from Kuwasawa Design School, Department of Design in 2011. Freelance since '15. Active mainly in graphic design, editorial design, and graphic work production, provision, and exhibition.
