On Saturday, June 14th, Emporio Armani's new flagship store opened on Miyuki Street in Ginza, Tokyo.
The new store, surrounded by Ginza's iconic architecture, features an impressive façade that skillfully combines glass and metal. Vertical lines of light give the building a sophisticated look, and the brand logo shines particularly brightly at the top.
Emporio Armani Ginza Store
The boutique, Japan's largest, is built over three floors and has a total floor area of 900 square metres. Its large windows create a connection with the city and give the impression of being light-filled, open and uncluttered during the day.
The store design, which was created in collaboration with Giorgio Armani and his architectural team, is reminiscent of the flagship store on Milan's Via Manzoni. The simple yet symbolic beauty of the design and the aesthetic sense that discerns the essence of Japanese culture resonate throughout the store, expressing a deep empathy and respect for Japanese culture.

The flooring is made of eco-resin, and the walls and shelves are made of natural cement. The entire store is finished in a soft, neutral greige color, creating a comfortable space. The LED screens that reach up to the ceiling allow for visual changes according to the concept or season. Together with the minimalist fixtures with glass tables and mirror structures, they create a dynamic visual experience that matches the worldview of the collection.
Emporio Armani Cafe
The first floor features men's and women's accessories, watches, and jewelry, while the second floor features the women's collection and the third floor features the men's collection. In addition, on the left at the back of the first floor, there is the Emporio Armani Café, with a bar counter and stools accented by soft blue walls, where you can enjoy a relaxing moment between shopping.
The staircase connecting the first and second floors was designed by Giorgio Armani himself, and while it has a dignified presence, it blends in like a part of a modern Zen garden.
2F Women's Floor
Based on a concept of lightness in both its visual and structural aspects, the space fully expresses the spirit of the brand through its dialogue with the city and meticulous balance.
