Cartier Japan will open the Cartier Ginza 4-chome Boutique in Ginza 4-chome on Friday, September 19, 2025.
The four-story boutique will be the first in Japan to feature a private space called the "Residence" on the top floor, complete with a bar and dining area, offering a luxurious space tailored to each individual guest. The boutique, the largest in Asia in terms of total floor space, will also feature works by Japanese artists and décor reflecting Japan's distinctive aesthetic sense, welcoming guests to a unique, international space that weaves together Cartier's outstanding savoir-faire and Japanese culture.

With the opening of the Ginza 4-chome boutique, the Cartier Ginza boutique in Ginza 2-chome will temporarily close in mid-September. From October, the boutique will be renamed "Maison de Panthère" and will be reborn as a venue for various events reflecting the spirit of the Maison, themed around the panther (leopard), Cartier's emblem, until the beginning of 2026. Starting with "Into the Wild," an event embodied the spirit of the panther, scheduled for mid-October, the boutique will continue as a venue for experiencing the world of high jewelry, the quintessential Cartier, glamorous celebrations to mark the holiday season, and the Maison's savoir-faire. After that, preparations will begin for the reopening next year or later.
Cartier will open four unique boutiques in the special district of Ginza, Tokyo. Each boutique has its own distinctive character: the Cartier Ginza 4-chome Boutique, which reflects a light and airy style and breathes new expression from the Maison; the flagship Cartier Ginza Boutique, which embodies the essence of the Maison and is at the core of its role as a high jeweler; the Cartier Ginza Namiki-dori Boutique, which exudes prestige and tradition; and the Cartier Boutique GINZA SIX, a modern space where a variety of charms intersect.
