Ginza Novo: A New Destination for Luxury, Dining, and Experiences
The name " GinzaNovo " comes from the Latin word " novo," meaning " new ," and is also inspired by the astronomical phenomenon of a new star, "Nova." Like a new star being born in a constellation, a new icon has been born in Ginza, Tokyo's center of luxury. Embodying regeneration and brilliance, GinzaNovo heralds the dawn of a new phase in Ginza, a district with a long history as a shopping district. Designed for those seeking a sophisticated shopping experience and contemporary innovation, GinzaNovo is a one-of-a-kind landmark that embodies a distinctly Ginza-esque aesthetic amidst its brand newness. GinzaNovo, which has made a fresh start as a new brand, will transform its space into a fantastical space with a symmetrical motif for Christmas, creating a holiday atmosphere. Starting Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the special project, "Kaleidoscope of Joy: GinzaNovo x Ribbonesia," will be held in collaboration with Ribbonesia, an artist unit that continues to amaze and inspire people around the world by pursuing the possibilities of ribbons.
The event will feature two gigantic kaleidoscope-shaped objects, each measuring 4 meters square and 3.35 meters high, on the third floor. Using traditional cut glass patterns as its motif, the colorful ribbon artwork created by Ribbonesia expresses the worldview of the birth of "GinzaNovo," a new symbol of Ginza, through the infinitely expanding and expandable kaleidoscope, creating an experiential installation that can only be encountered here.
