Ginza NAGANO will be hosting a one-day “Shinshu Apple x Music” experience at a Christmas-only cafe event on Thursday, December 25th, to enjoy with all five senses.

~During December, we are also running a campaign where we will include holiday gift wrapping with sake and wine~

Ginza NAGANO (Chuo-ku, Tokyo), an information hub operated by Nagano Prefecture that connects the Tokyo metropolitan area and Nagano, will be holding a one-day-only Christmas-only cafe event, "Merry Apple Christmas – Savor Shinshu apples and the sounds of Christmas in Ginza," on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

As we enter December, the whole city is enveloped in a Christmas mood. In recent years, in addition to spending time with family, friends, and partners, diverse ways of spending Christmas are becoming common, such as treating yourself to something different, with keywords like "oshikatsu" (supporting your favorite person) and "personal time."

In light of this, Ginza NAGANO will be hosting a Christmas event unique to Nagano this year, centered around "Shinshu Apples x Music." Nagano Prefecture boasts the second-largest apple production in Japan, and apples are a major product that many people associate with the name "Nagano." This year in particular, the prefecture appointed a "Shinshu Green Apple Ambassador" to boost the green apple market, and Nagano's "red-fleshed apples" received attention on television, drawing attention to varieties unique to Nagano. With interest in apples on the rise, we have prepared a special event to "taste, learn about, and enjoy" Nagano apples.

On the day of the event, in cooperation with Boulangerie Asanoya, a long-established bakery with its main store in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture, a special menu using apples from Nagano Prefecture will be available, as well as an apple tasting set (limited to 50 servings). The special menu will include a special Ginza NAGANO "Apple Christmas Plate," where you can enjoy Asanoya's special apple pie and stollen, perfect for the Christmas season, along with fresh Nagano apples. Many fans look forward to this time of year every year, and you can enjoy this luxurious set, which also includes two types of Christmas stollen.

In addition, performers with ties to Nagano Prefecture will be invited to perform live Christmas classics and songs related to artists from Nagano Prefecture. Guests who dine and drink will also be able to pick an apple-shaped ornament from the Christmas tree and exchange it for an actual apple from the prefecture in an "apple giveaway" (limited to 50 people).

Additionally, Ginza NAGANO is running a campaign only available during December, where customers who purchase sake or wine over a certain amount will receive free holiday gift wrapping. In addition to alcohol, Ginza NAGANO also stocks a wide variety of products packed with the charms of Nagano, including apples from Nagano Prefecture, as well as vegetables and fruits, and popular sweets from each region, making it the perfect place to choose a gift for Christmas or the New Year. Be sure to take advantage of the event and enjoy choosing a gift that is uniquely Nagano Prefecture.

This Christmas, with its wide variety of ways to enjoy yourself, come to Ginza NAGANO for a special day where you can fully experience the charm of Nagano Prefecture.
