After the Christmas season, let's move on to the hopeful and romantic glow of the New Year! The illuminations on Hibiya Nakadori Street will be transformed into a fantastical production based on the concept of "Nocturne" from Friday, December 26th.
Tokyo Midtown Hibiya will hold "HIBIYA Magic Time Illumination 2025," which is based on the concept of "magical moments," even after the Christmas season ends, until Saturday, February 28, 2026. In addition, a new light production, "Star of Winter Romance," will be displayed at Hibiya Step Square from Monday, December 29, 2025 to Sunday, February 15, 2026.
"Star of Winter Romance" is an illumination production inspired by the image of a midwinter night when the stars shine brightest. A large, star-shaped illuminated object is installed in the center of Step Plaza, its white glow warmly welcoming visitors as a symbol of hope. The Twinkly illumination cube installed within the plaza decorates the space with a "high-quality color palette" based on pale warm colors such as pink, accented with white, blue, and yellow. This creates an exciting and gorgeous atmosphere, reminiscent of the moment of giving a gift. Combined with the accompanying gift box, it creates a romantic space where you can enjoy a warm moment with your partner, family, or loved one. It also coordinates with the illuminations on the Grand Staircase, making it a fun photo spot against the backdrop of a winter night.
The "ETERNAL HEART TREE," which debuted this year, is currently on display at the top of the grand staircase. A katsura tree draped in sparkling silver illuminations is adorned with a single red heart ornament, representing the "tree of eternal hearts" in reference to the flower's meaning of "immutability."

Additionally, starting Friday, December 26th, Hibiya Nakadori Street's "HIBIYA AREA ILLUMINATION" will be transformed into a "Nocturne"-themed performance. Evoking the image of a silent nighttime scene, the deep blue light and fantastical performance will weave a beautiful story unfolding across the night sky. In the open outdoor space of Park View Garden on the 6th floor, you can also enjoy the popular "PARK VIEW WINTER GARDEN," where the lawn area is illuminated in full color.
