Randy's Donuts, a hugely popular Los Angeles donut shop operated in Japan by Grit International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Grit International), will grand open its fourth store in Japan, the Yurakucho Marui store, in the Yurakucho Marui shopping complex in front of Yurakucho Station, in mid-March 2026, operated by JR Central Retailing Plus Co., Ltd.
Randy's Donuts is a hugely popular donut shop that was founded in Los Angeles in 1952. In particular, the giant donut-shaped sign, approximately 10 meters (32 feet) in diameter, towering over the roof of its first US store, has long been a symbol of the city and is widely known as a Los Angeles landmark, appearing in popular movies and music videos.
Randy's Donuts Shibuya Daikanyama, the first store in Japan, had its grand opening in May last year. In front of the store is a giant donut-shaped signboard measuring approximately 4m in diameter, which is the symbol of Randy's Donuts. Inside the store, a large showcase measuring approximately 3m in height and 2.7m in width displays up to 1,000 donuts of over 40 different designs, handmade daily, and is attracting a lot of attention.
Additionally, we are actively expanding our store network to accommodate more customers, opening our first takeout specialty store, Randy's Donuts Shinjuku Iito Lumine Store, in September last year, and Randy's Donuts Tokyo Gift Palette Store in Tokyo Station in December.
Randy's Donuts Yurakucho Marui Store, the fourth store in Japan, will have an eat-in space and will offer over 40 types of donuts handmade daily using original recipes that have been passed down since the store's founding, as well as Japan-exclusive products.The store will also serve specialty coffee made with Randy's Donuts' own roasting blend, Randy's Roast, and over 20 types of drinks, including boba, a tapioca drink that is also popular in the United States, milkshakes, and lemonade.
Randy's Donuts aims to open 50 stores nationwide by the end of 2028, and aims to become a sweets brand loved by Japanese customers.
