Opening on Thursday, September 3rd, "Ya Taiwan Festival 2026 in Hibiya Park" will feature sky lanterns, shooting games, street performances, and even draft "Gold Medal Beer," a rarity in Japan!
Take home the entire experience of a Taiwanese night market, not just the menu, but the entire "time" it offers.
Taiwanese night markets are not just collections of food stalls. People on their way home from work, families, and tourists alike drop in without a specific purpose, eat, play, chat with someone, and then go home. They are the social hubs of the city. More than the taste of the food, what we want to recreate is the "time" that flows through that place.
Hibiya Park, the venue, is right in the heart of Tokyo, surrounded by office buildings. There, along with the early autumn breeze, we will create an extraordinary atmosphere. Stop by after work, have a drink under the lanterns, and head home. We will create such an evening in Tokyo. Enjoy the theme: "Experience the thrill of Taiwan with all your senses!!"
① [Watch/Play] Light up and aim at the target
Shooting gallery, ring toss, mask making, Taiwanese souvenirs
Entertainment is an essential part of any night market. In addition to classic shooting games and ring toss, we'll have a "mask making" activity and a "Taiwanese souvenir" corner featuring items directly imported from Taiwan, such as instant noodles and soy milk. We want to create a place where people want to linger, rather than just a place to leave immediately after eating.

Ring Toss
Aim for a High Score!
② [Listen/Watch] Hiromi and street performance
Appearing on the special stage is singer-songwriter Hiromi, born and raised in Taiwan. Having come to Japan at the age of 18, she delivers lyrics that blend her experiences in Taiwan with Chinese language, all sung with a clear, transparent voice. She has produced and sung official theme songs for numerous Taiwanese events, and in 2022, she was appointed "Nagoya Tourism and Cultural Exchange Special Ambassador." Her songs, reflecting her understanding of both Japan and Taiwan, convey that this venue is a place connecting these two lands.
Street Performance
Street performers will also appear at the venue. Street performance is not something you buy a ticket to see; it's an art form that people passing by stop to watch, and before they know it, they're in the front row. It creates a situation where something is happening no matter where you are in the venue, making the time spent there itself the content.

③ [To savor] "Gold Medal Beer on tap," a rare find in Japan.
We serve Taiwan Beer Gold Medal, Taiwan's flagship beer, on tap.
In Japan, canned and bottled beer is the dominant form of distribution, and opportunities to drink draft beer are extremely rare.
The fine bubbles and clear mouthfeel are unlike anything you'd find in a can or bottle.
We'll recreate that feeling of slurping down food in a Taiwanese diner, amidst the vibrant energy of a night market.
We also have "Taiwanese Diner" where you can enjoy "KAVALAN Highball," a whiskey made with Taiwanese whiskey.
The food selection includes night market classics such as beef noodle soup, roast duck (Taiwanese duck), pan-fried dumplings, braised pork rice (Lu Rou Fan), large fried chicken cutlet (Da Ji Pai), and pepper buns (Hu Jiao Bun).
And even in September, the heat lingers. To cool down your overheated body, try the fluffy Taiwanese shaved ice with mango, tapioca, or brown sugar.
