The “NO.6 World Exhibition” has opened in spectacular fashion! This immersive event, which traces the path taken by Shion and Nezumi and challenges the truth of the story, starts on October 2nd (Friday)!

Author Atsuko Asano will celebrate her 35th anniversary in 2026, having debuted in 1991. To commemorate this, an exhibition titled "The World of NO.6 Exhibition – A Journey Following the Paths of Shion and Nezumi -" will be held, showcasing the world of her near-future science fiction novel series "NO.6".

The exhibition opened on October 2nd (Friday) at Matsuya Ginza Namikidori Building/Ginza Mirai Museum in Tokyo. It features exhibits that look back on memorable scenes from the film, as well as spatial designs that bring those scenes back to life.

This exhibition will explore the charm of the story of "NO.6" through spatial design that recreates the world of the work, and will also feature the sale of original exhibition merchandise available for purchase at the venue.

A variety of immersive, interactive exhibits that let you get lost in the world of the story . This exhibition is an immersive experience where you can feel the story and world of "NO.6." Enjoy the world of the rats in "The Rat's Room," based on descriptions from the story such as bookshelves and beds, and recreate a space that evokes the tension of the story, like a "correctional facility." Furthermore, there is a "branching room" filled with heart-stirring lines, and the exhibition allows you to fully immerse yourself in the world of "NO.6" by tracing the footsteps of famous scenes and characters.

Exploring the area with the "Citizen Navigation System (Audio Guide)" (paid service), narrated by voice actor Yuki Kaji, who played Shion in the TV anime, offers a valuable opportunity to experience the world of the Holy City "NO.6" more deeply.

[Profile of Atsuko Asano]
Atsuko Asano was born and raised in Okayama Prefecture. She began writing children's literature while still in university, and after working as an elementary school teacher, she made her debut as an author in 1991 with "Hotaru-kan Monogatari" (The Story of Hotaru Mansion). In 1997, she won the 35th Noma Children's Literature Award for "Battery," and in 2005, she won the 54th Shogakukan Children's Publishing Culture Award for "Battery I-VI." Her "NO.6" series has been adapted into a manga and an anime. Fourteen years after the completion of "NO.6," she started the "NO.6 Reunion" series, which depicts events two years later. She writes works in various genres, from children's literature to historical novels, and is popular with a wide range of generations.
