What is Ginza chandelier?
Ginza is a city that has embraced all cultures around the world and created new brilliance. I want to be a stage where dreams and aspirations are always filled and happy memories are spun. With such a wish, the light façade "Ginza Chandelier" was born at the Ginza 4-chome intersection. It's the entrance where the story of the people who gather in Ginza begins. It illuminates the encounter dazzlingly and lights up gently in memory. It is a symbol of a new city that colors today in Ginza.
Ginza chandelier overview
The chandelier was selected as a motif that can embody the image of Ginza such as tradition, beauty, dreams, and longing, which is suitable for the liveliness and style of the city of Ginza. In addition, we named it "Ginza Chandelier" because we want it to be recognized as a part of the city by coloring the scenery of the city and becoming a symbol of high publicity that has been loved for a long time.
- LED optical fiber is embedded in the chandelier.
- The arch surrounding the chandelier is an image of a "gate". It expresses the entrance where new encounters await.
- On the design panel on the wall, "willow", which is a tree in Chuo Ward and symbolizes Ginza, and "lion", which is a symbol of Mitsukoshi, are designed. It lights up in different colors depending on the season and time, creating a cityscape.
