Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd., together with the Japan Contemporary Art Dealers Association [CADAN], is a "Yurakucho Window Gallery" where the general foundation Culture Vision Japan exhibits contemporary art at several commercial stores on Marunouchi Naka-dori. We will co-sponsor from March 4th (Friday) to March 21st (Monday / holiday), 2022. In addition, in conjunction with multiple art projects during the same period, we will develop an art week "ART WALK YURAKUCHO" that will liven up the area.
・ Outline of the event
"Yurakucho Window Gallery" is a project to exhibit contemporary art at a commercial store on Marunouchi Naka-dori, one of Japan's leading brand districts. The works of 12 artists selected according to the image of each store will be exhibited in 7 stores for a limited time. The art you see while shopping, away from museums and galleries, will make you feel more familiar. Now that the interest in a more fulfilling life has increased after the corona disaster, the area around this area will attract more people as a showroom for affluent living, centered on art.
