Warner Bros. Japan, LLC, will celebrate the 85th anniversary of the birth of "Tom and Jerry" in 2025, and in partnership with Ginza Mitsukoshi, will hold the "Tom and Jerry 85th Anniversary Exhibition: When You Laugh, I Laugh Too" for the first time in Japan from August 7th (Wed) to August 19th (Mon) at the Ginza Mitsukoshi New Building 7th floor event hall.

Since the duo William Hanna and Joseph Barbera released the short film "Tom and Jerry" to the world in 1940, it has been loved by people all over the world as a masterpiece that transcends generations. It is a hugely popular animated series of slapstick comedy in which the cat Tom and the mouse Jerry get into all sorts of chases every episode. In 2025, "Tom and Jerry" will celebrate its 85th anniversary, and in 2024, we will be celebrating the anniversary with various events.
Tom and Jerry continues to make children and adults around the world smile.
