“Kakiyasu Ginza Store” to undergo full renovation and reopen on Tuesday, April 8, 2025

Four new luxury private rooms with a seasonal theme have been created. A new course menu will be offered, featuring the rare "Kakiyasu Matsusaka Beef '1% Miracle'" and the finest ingredients.

Kakinoyasu Honten Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Kakinoyasu), a long-established company with over 150 years of history since its founding as a beef hotpot restaurant in 1871, will be completely renovating and reopening its traditional Japanese restaurant, "Kakinoyasu Ginza Store," on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

A wine cellar stocked with carefully selected wines is located in front of the entrance to the private room area.

Four new luxurious and sophisticated private rooms with the theme of "Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter"



Kakinoyasu Ginza, a traditional Japanese restaurant that symbolizes Kakinoyasu's hospitality and deliciousness, which has a history of over 150 years since its founding, will undergo a complete renovation and reopen on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
The renovation was undertaken by Ryu Kosaka, a spatial designer active both in Japan and overseas, who has completely renovated everything from the entrance to the interior of the store. The store has been divided into two main areas.

One is a private room area that emphasizes more privacy, and the other is the main hall area that combines Japanese and modern styles.
The private room area, in particular, is accessed through an entrance that invites you into a special space, where you will find four rooms, each designed to evoke the beautiful four seasons of Japan.
The main hall has only five seats for your relaxation. The lighting is also carefully designed, with soft light from the light screens enveloping the entire hall, creating an elegant and calm atmosphere.

The store has two different faces, creating a unique atmosphere. Each time you visit, you will discover something new.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we welcome our guests with a variety of dishes unique to Kakinoyasu, a long-established meat restaurant, and heartfelt hospitality.

To commemorate this complete renovation, Kakiyasu Ginza store will be offering two new, premium menu items: the Luxury Course Miyabi (from 49,500 yen including tax) and Hana (41,800 yen including tax).
<Miyabi> features the rare "Kakinan Matsusaka Beef '1% Miracle'" born and raised in Mie Prefecture, and the highest quality seasonal ingredients carefully selected by the head chef. <Hana> is a course that allows you to fully enjoy the charm of beef using a variety of cooking methods.
In addition, we will be introducing a new "wine course" where you can enjoy pairings of wines carefully selected by a sommelier to go perfectly with your meal.
You can enjoy a luxurious moment savoring a variety of seasonal dishes, painstakingly prepared by chefs who have inherited Kakinoyasu's traditions and techniques.

The plaster walls are finished in red bengara, a color often used in traditional Japanese architecture, which gives the building a warm texture and transforms it into a dignified and tasteful appearance.
As you walk in, the first thing you'll see is the welcoming flowers. The floral arrangements, supervised by Masaru Akai, a highly acclaimed florist both in Japan and overseas, decorate the entrance, allowing you to experience the beauty of Japan's four seasons.
Furthermore, the rippling water bubbling from the stone basin accentuates the tranquil space and further heightens the sense of anticipation.
