“Arrows”, which is the center of the exhibition, is a work that expresses “Japan's unique view of life and death” using 225 arrows made of red urethane paint on a wooden beech. The inspirational hint was the story of Kaediya from Amiko Amako who appeared in Kojiki and Nihonshoki. In the story of Amaka Wakako who throws back the arrow she released and loses her life, it symbolizes that her own wickedness leads to death, and the urge to “life” such as “desire” and “spear” In other words. Kinohana tells us through such work that such a life or death is an existence that has a vague border. Also, the bottom surface of Arrows was finished with a stainless steel mirror to show the ambiguity of the boundary. Real and virtual images (life and death, and “this world” and “ "That world").

The new painting “Descenting Series” has a total of 10 works, both large and small. The clouds and lightning drawn as the motif of the work are iconic icons that are often used in the nose work as a motif to metaphorize the boundary lines that indicate "heaven and earth" or "life and death" It can be said. Kino says that these were inspired by "Raigozu" in Buddhist paintings.
