MUJI continues to pursue a "comfortable life" by re-examining the essence of things through manufacturing, which is the basis of daily life. Art is an embodiment of life itself, and is also one of the expressions of the origin of life that MUJI continues to ask. "MUJI CONNECTS ART" is a project with a message that we want people to connect with each other and people to society and incorporate art into their lives as one of the activities aimed at realizing a "comfortable life".

In this first exhibition, works drawn by four artists active in Japan and overseas will be produced in collaboration with the lithograph studio "Idem Paris" in Paris, France. MUJI will be exhibited and sold at Ginza and online stores. (100 copies each limited)

The appeal of lithographs is that they are hand-crafted by craftsmen to create a unique, one-of-a-kind texture.
Although it is an art that is easy to incorporate into your life, you can feel the traces of a certain person's hand. Even if the social structure and lifestyle change, the art created by human hands gives us an opportunity to feel something, and sometimes it also connects and supports people.
We hope that this exhibition will be an opportunity for us living in the present to nurture the original power of life and lead to a bright future.

Idem Paris
Inheriting the technology and tradition of lithograph with a history of more than 100 years, Idem Paris collaborates with various artists from the days of masters such as Mathis, Picasso, Black, Chagall, and Miro to contemporary art writers. The studio that has been produced.
