·overview

At Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore, we have been proposing various cultures by focusing on "Japanese culture" such as Buddhist statues and Japanese swords.

In this exhibition, the Buddhist statues of the interior brand "Ism", which precisely reproduces the Buddhist statues of the national treasure class, and the Buddhist paintings by Nakamurajin Cotton Flower (Yuka), a contemporary artist who specializes in soft curves and vivid colors, will be displayed. ..
Enjoy the ever-evolving beauty of Buddha as a soothing interior and as a work of art that adds vibrancy to your everyday life.

Furthermore, on May 29th (Sun), we will hold a talk event with Nakamurajin and Yuka, with Mihotoke, who is active as an entertainer who loves Buddhist statues, as MC. We will dig deeper into individual works while listening to the encounters with the themes (Buddhism, Buddhist statues, Kannon) of two writers of different genders and ages, and how they are working on the works. ..
