From October 24th (Thursday) to November 4th (Monday), Ginza Wako will be holding the "8th Pioneer of Beauty – Nitten Now" exhibition at the Seiko House Hall (formerly Wako Hall), bringing together works by masters of beauty.
The exhibition "Pioneer of Beauty – The Nitten Exhibition Now" will be held for the eighth time at Wako, and will feature works from five genres – Japanese painting, Western painting, sculpture, craft art, and calligraphy – mainly by artists who are advisors, directors, and auditors of the Nitten Exhibition, which is a leader in the Japanese art world.
Ryohei Miyata, Chairman of the Nitten Exhibition, gave us some words of encouragement regarding the event.
"We are very pleased to be holding the 8th 'Pioneer of Beauty – Nitten Now'. Unlike the main exhibition at the National Art Center, Tokyo, this exhibition will be held under the direction of our advisors and board members, and we hope that visitors will be able to enjoy the exhibition more up-to-dately, with a collection of small works that fully demonstrate high levels of technique and expression in the pursuit of particular beauty."
Please come to the venue to enjoy the beautiful works of 42 masters, including an artist who won the Minister's Award at last year's Nitten Exhibition.
