The 80th anniversary event "Magazine House Expo: From Ginza to the World" is based on the concept of "From Ginza to the World".
This special exhibition is a collaboration between Ginza Sony Park, a "park in the city," and Magazine House, a company with an 80-year history, and allows visitors to experience the past, present, and future of magazine culture.
The exhibition will be presented as a space where visitors can experience the worldview of Magazine House's diverse magazines, including "anan," "POPEYE," and "BRUTUS," with all five senses, and will offer an experience that goes beyond a simple retrospective, allowing visitors to participate, enjoy, and feel a sense of anticipation for the future. We aim to become a place that will launch a new movement from Ginza to the Japanese and global cultural scenes.

■ "Magazine House Expo" Exhibition Introduction
・B2 floor "Magazine House A to Z"
"Magazine House A to Z," located on the second basement floor directly connected to the Ginza Station concourse, introduces Magazine House's founding history, epoch-making events, and future initiatives, organized by keywords from "A" to "Z." The plan allows visitors to enjoy Magazine House's "past" and "future" in a variety of ways, including exhibits of valuable materials, screenings of videos that can only be enjoyed here, and audio content.
・B2F to 5F "Magazine House 80 Years of Cover Exhibition"
The "Magazine House 80 Years of Cover Art Exhibition" will feature a gallery in the "vertical promenade" that connects the basement and rooftop of Ginza Sony Park, where visitors can view precious cover pages from many of Magazine House's iconic magazines, such as "Heibon" and "POPEYE." Spend some time reflecting on the changing culture as you gaze upon the covers that evoke the atmosphere of that era.
・B1 floor "Magazine House Shop"
Pop-up stores will be set up for popular magazines such as "Croissant" and "Hanako," as well as popular manga such as Kyoko Okazaki's "pink" and Yoriko Hoshi's "Nekomura-san." They will sell original goods, limited edition sweets carefully selected by the editorial department, and an English edition of the Tokyo special feature that can be enjoyed by people from overseas.
・1st floor: "POPEYE POP-UP SHOP" / "BRUTUS COFFEE KIOSK" / "anan Panda" / "Hello, BRUTUS" If you could talk to BRUTUS with Google Gemini / "Magazine House Used Book Market"
The entrance on the first floor is a fun space where projects produced by the magazine's editorial department are lined up. You can experience the editorial department's attention to detail and playfulness through the sale of original goods from the ever-popular "POPEYE" magazine, a new project by "BRUTUS" and Google's AI, Gemini, and a special corner for "anan Panda," the mascot character of "anan."
・3rd floor: "Casa BRUTUS Special Exhibition: Takashi Murakami and Murakami House"
The internationally acclaimed artist Takashi Murakami will be creating a "Murakami House" on the floor of Ginza Sony Park. The design will be handled by the architectural startup VUILD. What kind of house will Murakami create with the help of digital fabrication? The gallery will also feature prints of Utagawa Hiroshige, previously only available overseas, and other works by Takashi Murakami. The exhibition is linked to the special feature in the October 9th issue of "Casa BRUTUS."
*"Takashi Murakami and Murakami House" is a paid event.
・4th floor "Special Streaming Stage"
On the fourth floor, where a streaming stage has been set up, a variety of events will be held, including an experiment show based on the hugely popular educational manga "Rika Daman," a talk show with Hiroyuki Ehara and Mariko Hayashi, and a "City Boy Variety Show" hosted by the editorial department of "POPEYE" and featuring a rakugo performer.
*The above is a tentative plan and is subject to change.
*Detailed information will be updated on the " Magazine House Haku Special Site " from time to time.

■ About Ginza Sony Park
Ginza Sony Park is a "park in the city" located on a corner of Sukiyabashi Crossing in Ginza, Tokyo. A park is essentially a place where people can freely interact and new experiences are born, precisely because it has spaces with no set usage. By designing this "space," Ginza Sony Park has become a public space that visitors can use freely, giving rise to new "activities." This also inherits the concept of a "facility open to the city" that has been cherished by the Sony Building.
The distinctive architecture, with four basement floors and five above ground, is intentionally kept to about half the height of a standard building in Ginza, bringing a sense of spaciousness and rhythm to the city. Three sides of the ground floor are open to the street, and it is directly connected to the subway and underground parking lot. Furthermore, the large atrium structure and vertical promenade that stretch from the first basement floor to the second above ground floor create a seamless connection with the city, giving it a more urban and three-dimensional feel.
Ginza Sony Park does not have any permanent tenants, but instead utilizes the space to develop a variety of activities. On the B3 floor, casual dining based on Western cuisine, "1/2 (Nibun no Ichi)," offers new experiences through food.
Ginza Sony Park was born by redefining the urban park, and its open spaces and activities continue to create new rhythms for the city and its people.
