Audemars Piguet celebrates its 150th anniversary with the “House of Wonders” exhibition in Tokyo’s Ginza district

Swiss Haute Horlogerie Manufacture Audemars Piguet will hold a special exhibition celebrating its 150th anniversary, "House of Wonders," in the Ginza district of Tokyo from Monday, November 10, 2025 to Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Founded in 1875 in Le Brassus in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, Audemars Piguet has pursued watchmaking tradition and innovation for 150 years. This exhibition is designed as a "gateway" to the brand's birthplace, and is a modern, unique, immersive exhibition that allows watch enthusiasts, as well as those experiencing Audemars Piguet for the first time, to enjoy and experience the brand's worldview.

The venue is located on Namiki-dori in Ginza, an area lined with numerous flagship stores of luxury watches and luxury fashion houses, and is made up of themed rooms across two floors. Upon passing through the doors of the "House of Wonders," modeled after the building constructed by the founder in 1907 as the brand's first manufacture and which still serves as its headquarters, guests are invited into the unique world of Audemars Piguet watchmaking.

The Galerie of Time, which showcases the brand's 150-year historical depth as a source of experience and knowledge, explores the origins of watchmaking in the Vallée de Joux, the birthplace of the brand, and retraces the story of Audemars Piguet's founding in 1875 through archival documents and materials.

In addition, a section featuring rare archive pieces and the latest timepieces will showcase each timepiece's unique history, highlighting its evolution over time, shape, function, color, and design, as well as its technological expertise. Other content will allow visitors, regardless of their watch expertise, to fully appreciate the appeal of mechanical timepieces. This space will explore the history of Audemars Piguet, highlighting its avant-garde spirit and creativity through an immersive VR experience in collaboration with Geneva-based Dreamscape, and a section where technicians demonstrate the mechanisms of mechanical watches. This space will allow visitors to fully experience the company's history, from its founding in 1875 to the present day, using all five senses. The space will highlight the craftsmanship, innovation, and people's stories that Audemars Piguet has built over the past 150 years.

Reservations for visits will be accepted from Friday, October 24th on a special page on the Audemars Piguet website. Don't miss this opportunity to visit the special exhibition and experience the allure of Audemars Piguet.
