Teppanyaki Calme, a hidden gem of a modern creative teppanyaki restaurant, opened on April 3, 2026.
We are pleased to announce that we have started accepting online reservations through Ikkyu.com and our website from May 15th.
"Steak Take," a beloved restaurant in the Shonan area, blessed with the bounty of the sea and mountains, has now relocated to Shintomi-cho in the Ginza area , the forefront of Tokyo's gourmet scene, and has been reborn as "Teppanyaki Calme."
Maintaining the discerning eye cultivated over many years for selecting cattle with a strong focus on bloodline, and the high-quality hospitality that caters to each and every customer, the restaurant has updated its offerings with original teppanyaki dishes incorporating the essence of French cuisine.
As the name "Calme" (French for "calmness" or "tranquility") suggests, this is a place where you can savor a dish in a calm atmosphere, allowing your mind to relax and leaving a peaceful aftertaste.
We offer course menus designed for special occasions such as anniversaries, as well as for business entertaining and dinners, and that can be enjoyed by both domestic and international customers.
Our recommended courses, SIGNATURE and SAVOR, feature "Snow-Falling Wagyu Obanazawa," beef from Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, which has endured the harsh winter and accumulated exceptional fat.
Our chefs expertly grill virgin female Japanese Black cattle, raised in Obanazawa City, one of Japan's three most famous snow-covered areas, to your liking.
Combining the dynamism of teppanyaki with the delicate techniques of French cuisine, which presents seasonal seafood and vegetables with exquisite sauces, each dish will surprise and delight you.
At Teppanyaki Calme, a sommelier is always on staff. For drinks to accompany your meal, the sommelier carefully selects wines that pair well with the dishes, and we offer wine pairings as well as non-alcoholic pairings for customers who do not drink alcohol.
Enjoy a refined experience in a chic and tranquil private setting, where every aspect—from the cuisine to the ambiance and service—is meticulously crafted.
