A new guide to Ginza, “Everyone’s Exciting Tourist Information Center ‘MY GINZA MOMENT’,” where you can find the spots you want to visit based on photos of your “excitement” will be held at Sony Park Mini from July 12th (Fri) to July 25th (Thu)

Sony Park Mini, an experimental 33m² pop-up space, launched a new guide for Ginza called "Everyone's Exciting Tourist Information Center 'MY GINZA MOMENT'" on Friday, July 12, 2024, which uses photos of "exciting moments" that abound in the streets of Ginza to introduce various spots. Photos of "exciting moments" in Ginza are being collected from various creators, artists, people with ties to Ginza, and even the general public, and are being mapped as new tourist spots in Ginza on a large map that fills the entire wall of Sony Park Mini.

"Everyone's Exciting Tourist Information Center 'MY GINZA MOMENT'" is led by the 'MY GINZA MOMENT' team, which is dedicated to discovering new charms of the city. At Sony Park Mini, photos submitted by visitors will be displayed on a map covering the entire wall. The city of Ginza is full of "exciting moments" that seem familiar but are actually unknown, such as a view you notice when you look up at the sky, flowers blooming powerfully in the cracks of the asphalt, and back alley scenes that make you feel like you've traveled back in time.

If you look at the photos and find a spot you'd like to visit, print out the information about that place and go there in person! You might be able to sense the excitement someone felt. If you bring in a photo of Ginza that you've taken with your smartphone, it can be printed out on the spot and added to the map on the wall as a new tourist spot.

This new Ginza tourist guide, which can be seen on Sony Park Mini, can also be seen on Sony Park's official Instagram, so whether you're visiting Sony Park Mini or enjoying it online, we hope you enjoy this guide, which is full of all kinds of "exciting moments"!

An intersection on a calm, sunny day, drinking coffee with friends, unique signs, and the lights of buildings seen from the car window.
In fact, cities are full of excitement.
We at MY GINZA MOMENT aim to share the exciting moments that abound in Ginza through photos.
I came up with a way to discover new attractions in the city.
Take a look at an ordinary scene or see a familiar place from a slightly different angle.
By doing so, you can discover many exciting things hidden within the city, and a side of Ginza you've never seen before will emerge.
We will bring this new side of Ginza to you in the form of a tourist information center.
We hope that this will become a fun and useful tourist information center for people who gather in Ginza.

About Ginza Sony Park

Ginza Sony Park opened on August 9, 2018, during the demolition of Sony Building, inheriting the concept of "a facility open to the city" from the time of Sony Building's establishment. As an "experimental park that is constantly changing" in the city, it hosts a variety of surprising and playful events throughout the year, as well as programs such as "Park Live," which creates serendipitous encounters with music, and has been visited by 8.54 million visitors in three years (as of the end of September 2021).
Reconstruction work is currently underway, and the new Ginza Sony Park is scheduled to be completed this year in 2024.
