“Coach Ginza” opens new doors

Tokyo, Japan – On Friday, December 19, 2025, the flagship Coach Ginza store will begin a new chapter.
This flagship store, which has been loved by many customers for many years, has been transformed into a space where you can experience the brand's worldview more deeply, and will welcome you again with a new look.

The new Coach Ginza is symbolized by a "C"-shaped sculpture suspended from a spacious corner window. It adds a dynamic accent to the Ginza streetscape, bringing a new presence to the heart of the city. The façade features vertical louvers reminiscent of the New York skyline, creating a rhythm and movement that changes depending on the angle of view, evoking the vibrant energy of the city. This innovative concept was realized through a partnership between Coach and design studio CURIOSITY. The store is also dotted with design elements that further immerse customers in the brand's worldview. The circular space, "The Cocoon," displays carefully selected heritage items, allowing customers to immerse themselves in the brand's history and aesthetic. The store offers a fun and playful way to discover new items, adding a sense of discovery and surprise to the shopping experience.

A special collaborative mural was created on the side of the staircase with Japanese artist Keeenue. Her vibrant and inclusive work celebrates energy, community, and self-expression, telling a story that transcends fashion and culture and creativity. It also embodies the brand's purpose, "Courage to Be Real," encouraging visitors to embrace their true selves and explore beyond the boundaries of fashion.

The materials used were carefully selected to blend the urban strength of New York with the delicacy of Tokyo. Natural oak adds warmth, while black metal and exposed concrete create an industrial feel. Colorful terrazzo adds lightness and depth, creating a space filled with vibrant colors and textures.

The new Coach Ginza connects the brand's past and future, welcoming all visitors as a place where they can express their individuality. Opened in 2002 as Japan's first flagship store, the store underwent an update in 2015 and now boasts an even more evolved look, demonstrating a deep commitment to Japanese customers and delivering a truly moving experience. A new Coach story begins in this location, where the spirit of the brand's hometown, New York, resonates with the energy of Tokyo.
