Three days of heart-stirring immersion as you witness the interplay of four artists' expressions in a quiet underground gallery next to the Kabuki-za Theatre and beside Higashi-Ginza Station.
The Ginza Apollo Showakan YOHAKU ( https://www.gallery-yohaku.com/ ), a gallery housed in a retro Showa-era building next to the Ginza Kabuki-za Theatre, will host the group exhibition "POLYPHONY – Four Resonating Perspectives -" from Friday, March 27th to Sunday, March 29th, 2026.
This exhibition features four young artists: Kazuha Tatsuta, Otoha Tsuchiya, Jinsei Mashita, and Itsuki Yamamoto (in alphabetical order). The exhibition title, "POLYPHONY," refers to polyphonic music, where multiple melodies resonate simultaneously while remaining independent. The individual works of these four artists, each with their own distinct background, perspective, and expressive abilities, are placed together in the same space, each producing a different sound, yet they resonate with one another, creating a new kind of relationship. As viewers, we will undoubtedly experience a moment when our own hearts resonate with these works.
For three days, the perspectives emanating from four works resonate within a single, tranquil space, continuously giving rise to a new harmony—a truly moving experience. Please come and experience it for yourself at the venue.
[Kamiyama Foundation]
This exhibition is made possible by a grant from the Kamiyama Foundation. The foundation aims to promote culture and the arts and to nurture the next generation of talent. It provides scholarships and support for creative activities, primarily for graduate students in the arts, and contributes to the development of Japanese culture and the arts.
[Ginza Apollo Showakan YOHAKU]
YOHAKU, the venue for the exhibition, is a gallery located in the basement of the Ginza Apollo Showa-kan, a building that is one of the few remaining structures in Ginza from the Showa era. Adjacent to the Kabuki-za Theatre, this space evokes a sense of tranquil time for those who visit.
YOHAKU aims to be a place for artistic exchange that transcends age, experience, generations, and genres.
