◇◆ Consultation Corner ◆◇

You can consult directly with representatives from the cities and towns you are interested in. There is also a prefectural general information desk, so even if you're just thinking, "I'd like to start by gathering information about moving," you are more than welcome to join us.

◇◆ Talk Session ◆◇

I found it! Living in Nanashimachi ~The charm, ideals, and realities of life there from the perspective of an immigrant~ (Time: 13:00 – 14:00)

We interviewed four guests who have moved to Tsuwano, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
We'll be asking people candidly about what motivated them to move, the appeal of the area they currently live in, and other real-life experiences.
This is packed with helpful information for anyone interested in living in Yamaguchi/Tsuwano or considering moving there.

Motoomi Matsudo (Yamaguchi City)

I moved from Tokyo to Ato, Yamaguchi City. I'm a former member of the Regional Revitalization Cooperation Team. After my term ended, I settled down and now make a living through various occupations such as manufacturing prepared foods and processed goods, and working as an inbound tour guide.

Yoshitaka Hagino (Tsuwano Town)

After working as a salaried employee in Tokyo (sales and customs broker at Nippon Yusen), he returned to his family temple to become a Buddhist monk. While serving as the head priest, he is also involved in local activities such as promoting Mölkky and working as a hot spring sommelier.

Haruto Uehara (Hofu City)

Originally from Chiba Prefecture, she moved to Hofu City as part of a regional revitalization program. While working at the tourism association and handling information dissemination, she also runs her own local media outlet, "Hofu Moura."

Ms. Miharu Oshiro (Hagi City)

Originally from Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. During a journey across Japan searching for a place to live, I came across Hagi City. After participating in a relocation experience tour, I decided to move there. I moved in September 2025. Currently, I work at a coffee stand and a bookstore, practicing a work style that suits me.
