USA "Walt Disney Archives" collecting and storing materials on Walt Disney and Walt Disney Company. This exhibition is Japan 's first attempt to deliver to the many Japanese people who love Disney, as if they had entered the archives.
This time there are about 420 precious items selected carefully from huge collections such as costumes and props spanning thousands of Walt Disney · Archives and props, 4 million photographic materials, including Japan's first public release . This year, Walt Disney's work room reproduced to special arts, goods and details of Mickey Mouse celebrating the 90th anniversary of screen debut, "Beauty and the Beast", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Alice in Wonderland "In addition, the real costumes actually used in the movie work. And we will introduce valuable materials showing deep relationships between Disney and Japan with people's thoughts and unknown episodes behind them.

The research room that can look back at Disney's glorious past work items expands. In this room which recreates the actual research room that Disney's creators visit to obtain idea hints, a precious collection that traces the history from the Walt Disney Company foundation is exhibited. Materials that can be touched not only by looking at themselves but also desks and original original works used by animators are exhibited and packed with attractions. What is Walt Disney Archives?
Established in 1970 as a collection, preservation and document research department for Walt Disney and Walt Disney Company in Burbank, California, the collection covers a diverse range of Disney's history in general. We store more than 10,000 boxes of documents and goods, 4 million pictures, 12 thousand books, thousands of costumes and props.
Imagineers and external researchers responsible for the production of cast members, employees and attractions visit the archives and learn Disney's magic now and in the future.
