[Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore] The 4th anniversary fair “THE GINZA ARCHIVE-with artists and creators” will be held from April 20th.

Opened on April 20, 2017 as a "bookstore that proposes a lifestyle with art" on GINZA SIX 6F, this year marks the 4th anniversary.

Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is a fair to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the opening of the store, "THE GINZA ARCHIVE", a fair that collects various limited items that have been specially produced since the store opened with many artists and creators. "With the Creator" will be held in stores and online from April 20th to May 31st.

4th Anniversary Fair ｜ THE GINZA ARCHIVE-with artists and creators-

Ginza Tsutaya bookstore, connect the art and Japanese culture and life through the book, was opened on April 20, 2017 as a bookstore to propose a "living with art" to the land of Ginza.

Since the store opened, we have consistently aimed at manufacturing that can only be encountered here, and we are planning and selling various works and limited products together with artists, creators, craftsmen and other creators of moving works.

At this fair, we will hold a fair that introduces the limited edition archives that we have been making since 2017 on the storefront and online special page.

Limited art works that can only be bought here, BIG BOOK whose existence itself is like an art work, special art books with attention to detail, collaboration goods with artists, miscellaneous goods created based on traditional Japanese crafts and techniques, Please enjoy the special items such as stationery that conveys the world view of Edo culture at the store or online.

Latest item ① ｜ Large photo book "ANDO'S HANDS" with 200 copies limited to the world containing Tadao Ando's architecture

"ANDO'S HANDS"

BIG BOOK, which was pre-sold at Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore on March 18, 2021.

This is a book composed of architectural works by Tadao Ando, a world-famous architect, with hand-drawn drawings and sketches. It will be limited to 200 copies with signatures and serial numbers by Tadao Ando. As a privilege, a separate volume of Japanese paper drawing and detailed explanation is attached.

A new series of human original ink "Eitaka Ink" released on April 1, 2021.

"Rinpa color" with the motif of Rinpa masterpieces drawn by Korin, Hochu, and Hugging. We have developed a new color 3 with the concept of "the world of the Rinpa school", which boasts a remarkable and gorgeous beauty even in the "Edo period" when the gorgeous culture flourished. It is a new color created in the image of Ogata Korin's "Swallow Flower Figure" and Sakai Hoitsu's "Wave Figure".

Pickup ART ｜ Contemporary artist Hiroshi Mori Limited silk screen print

Pre-sale of a limited number of 50 silk screen prints by contemporary artist Hiroshi Mori.

This work is a silkscreen print of "When You Give Up, That's When The Game Is Over," which was the main visual of the solo exhibition "MOSHA" held at GINZA ATRIUM on the 3rd anniversary of Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore.

Since the summer of 2020, Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore has been announcing masks of various designs with artists, creators, and entertainers.
A mask that has become a part of life due to the spread of the new coronavirus. As a bookstore that proposes "living with art," we propose to incorporate art as fashion and enjoy wearing it.
