The Japan Art Tech Association holds an annual art event "100 People 10 (Reading: Ten / Below, 100 People Exhibition) 2021" with the aim of maximizing the potential of art and technology. We have decided to hold the "Shinwa Art Museum" (Ginza, Chuo-ku) and online from December 10th (Friday) to December 18th (Saturday), 2021. Prior to that, we will start accepting work entries from September 1, 2021 (Wednesday).
The "100 People Exhibition" started in November 2020 as a new type of competition that connects artists and their purchasers. In the first round, 450 works were submitted, and the works of 100 artists selected by the 15 selectors appointed by the secretariat will be sold by lottery for a flat rate of 100,000 yen. We received about 1,700 purchase requests, and all the works were sold out, which was very popular.
This time, which is the second time, through Instagram, which has a great influence on the modern art market, both artists and viewers will participate and it will evolve as an art event to think about the possibilities of art. Specifically, the selector system introduced last year was abolished, and all submitted works were posted on the official Instagram of the 100-person exhibition (https://www.instagram.com/100_10_exhibition/). Instead, the general public, including domestic and foreign art collectors and art lovers, will act as selectors and select their favorite works through Instagram likes. In addition, voting rights will be given to the artists who applied, and the total number of these will determine the 100 selected works to be exhibited at the event.

In addition, in light of the recent situation in which ESG has become an indispensable element in corporate management and it is becoming common to incorporate art into business, we will widely accept the award department in the name of the company this year. Companies that cooperate can carry out various collaborative activities such as awarding awards to those who have a high affinity with the company from all the artists who applied, manufacturing with artists, holding events, etc. Rights are granted. Through such efforts, we aim to provide a new relationship between companies and artists.
