・ About costume jewelry
At the beginning of the 20th century, when the era of tightening the waist with corsets ended and mobile fashion for working women appeared, costume jewelery did not match with existing jewelry, and accessories suitable for the clothes of the new era were made. It all started with that.
Instead of using expensive precious metals such as gold and diamonds, we dared to use glass, imitation pearls, shells, cloth, semi-precious stones, etc., and it was born as a fashionable and familiar new jewelry with "design-oriented".
It can be said that it is a general term for fashion jewelry made of free materials to realize designer designs, free from material restrictions and stereotypes.
