It has been 30 years since the sudden death. What on earth was Yutaka Ozaki fighting? I want you to feel the time when you were desperately alive along with that process.
Thirty years after Yutaka Ozaki's death, we plan to re-examine the road that Ozaki walked, the road that we walked with Ozaki, and the road that we will walk with Ozaki, and talk with each other.
April 25, 1992. Yutaka Ozaki, a singer-songwriter who represents the Japanese rock scene, passed away at the young age of 26. There are 71 songs in total that he released before he was alive. Many people love the lyrics that describe the emotions and social contradictions that lie deep inside their hearts, the singing voice that combines strength and delicacy, and the bold and friendly sound make-up, especially "15 Nights". Many famous songs such as "I LOVE YOU", "Graduation", and "Sherry" have been sung over the three eras of Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa.
What kind of person was Ozaki, what was Ozaki's 26-year history, and how did people face Ozaki after losing Ozaki? This exhibition, which will be held as a "separation", will be held 30 years after his death.
It was planned to reconsider and talk about the road that Ozaki walked, the road that he walked with Ozaki, and the road that he walked with Ozaki from now on.
At the venue, a large number of valuable materials such as musical instruments, creative notebooks, study desks, private photographs, sheet music for recording, and set lists used on the stage will be exhibited. In addition, live images and reproductions of personal studios will be added to get a closer look at the real image of the one and only singer-songwriter born in Japan.
