[Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore] An exhibition “little wish” by illustrator Ami, who gently draws a fantasy world in pop, will be held from November 4th (Friday).

Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore (GINZA SIX 6F, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will hold an exhibition of works by Ami, who is active as a painter and illustrator, from November 4th (Friday) to November 30th (Wednesday), 2022. "little wish" is held. In addition to new original drawings and giclee works, we will also develop a large number of newly drawn ornaments and goods.

·Overview

While holding solo and group exhibitions several times a year, Ami is an illustrator who works on a wide range of artworks, such as collaborative works with Sanrio Characters and jacket illustrations for the music group Sayonara Ponytail. It is characterized by a dreamy and gentle pop style with a somewhat fragile girl standing. In this exhibition, we will display and sell new original works and giclee works limited to Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore under the theme of "little wish", which means "small wish". In addition, we will exhibit and sell ornament works that decorate the Christmas season and art toy series in collaboration with Ami and Chinese toy maker "FINDING UNICORN".

・About sales of works and goods

Regarding the analog original works, the works will be exhibited and sold by replacing the works in the first half and the second half. Purchases of original works and giclees must be paid in advance. We are planning to deliver about 2 weeks after the end of the exhibition.

Goods (including mini posters and candy mirror ornaments) / Store display and sales start from 10:30 on Friday, November 4th, and online sales start from 10:30 on Saturday, November 12th.

・Artist profile

​A~mi~ (AAMY)

Born in 1992. An illustrator living in Fukuoka Prefecture.
After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, where he majored in graphic design, became independent after working as a graphic designer. He also works on exhibitions in Japan and overseas, as well as books and music artwork. In 2022, the art toys IP “AAMY” designed by himself will debut from Chinese toy maker FINDING UNICORN. Depicts various imaginary worlds in a gentle pop style.
