Group exhibition by six young artists
The POLA Museum Annex (Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will hold the "POLA Museum Annex Exhibition 2025" from Friday, February 7th to Sunday, April 13th, 2025, in two parts.
The "POLA Museum Annex Exhibition" is a project to introduce artists who have previously completed the overseas training program for young artists, which is one of the grant programs of the POLA Art Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation. The exhibition is held every year with the aim of showcasing the results of their training and encouraging the artists to use the results in their future creative activities.
In this first half of the exhibition, "Tracing the Roots," artists with diverse cultural backgrounds, including Yusuke Kamata, Tatsuma Takeda, and Anna Scripkariouchiai, will carefully explore their own inner selves, emotions, and values to discover the origins of their expressions.
In the second half of the exhibition, "The Possibilities of Materials," Saya Irie, Tsuyoshi Anzai, and Kanako Tada will maximize their creativity and gain a deep understanding of the characteristics of materials, thereby drawing out their appeal and pursuing the creation of unique expressions never before seen.
In addition, during the event, from Friday, March 7th to Sunday, March 9th, we will also be exhibiting at the international art fair "Art Fair Tokyo," providing an opportunity for many people to see our works, and we also plan to sell them.
By providing a venue for young artists to present their work, the exhibition aims to support their creative activities and promote contemporary art.
*The Grant Program for Overseas Training for Young Artists is aimed at artists under the age of 40, and aims to support overseas training and encourage more active creative activities.
