From scallops from Mutsu Bay and Strait salmon to apples from Aomori Prefecture, dried sardine ramen, sake, and shochu! Experience the charm of Aomori's food, tourism, and local culture in Tokyo for three days.
The Ummee Aomori Festival Executive Committee will hold the "Ummee Aomori Festival 2026 in Hibiya Park" for three days from September 18th (Fri) to 20th (Sun), 2026, at Nirenoki Plaza in Hibiya Park, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
Aomori Prefecture is surrounded by the sea on three sides and blessed with abundant nature, including the Hakkoda Mountains.
From seafood such as scallops from Mutsu Bay, strait salmon, and squid, to agricultural products including apples, for which Aomori boasts the highest production volume in Japan, to local gourmet foods like dried sardine ramen and miso curry milk ramen, and even sake that Aomori is proud of, Aomori has a wealth of delicious things to offer.
The "Ummee Aomori Festival" is an event that brings together the charms of Aomori in Tokyo, allowing people to actually taste, learn about, and enjoy them, thereby promoting the appeal of Aomori products and the region from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
The venue will feature gourmet food and local products unique to Aomori, as well as a special collaboration between the popular patisserie "MAISON GIVRÉE" and "Juno Heart," a cherry variety unique to Aomori Prefecture, tourism promotions, and a contest where you can win Aomori products.
During the same period, "Niku Matsuri 2026 in Hibiya Park" will also be held, and we expect more than 100,000 visitors to attend both events combined.
Enjoy three days in Hibiya, Tokyo, where you can discover the delicious flavors of Aomori.
■First up, seafood! Freshly grilled scallops from Mutsu Bay, Aomori Prefecture.
Surrounded by the sea on three sides, Aomori Prefecture is one of the nation's leading treasure troves of marine products.
"JF Aomori Fisheries Cooperative" will have a booth at the venue, offering grilled scallops from Mutsu Bay, Aomori Prefecture.
Scallops from Mutsu Bay, nurtured by nutrient-rich water flowing in from the Hakkoda Mountains, Shimokita Peninsula, and Tsugaru Peninsula, are characterized by their mellow sweetness and umami flavor.
You can enjoy Aomori's prized scallops, grilled to perfection right at the venue.
Furthermore, dried squid from Aomori Prefecture and processed products using scallops are also scheduled to be released.
■ "Tsugaru Strait Salmon" nurtured by the rough waves of the Tsugaru Strait
From the Hokusai Fisheries Production Cooperative comes "Kaikyo Salmon," raised in the Tsugaru Strait off the coast of Ohata-machi, Mutsu City, Aomori Prefecture.
Raised in fast currents and cold seas, this fish develops firm flesh and is characterized by its rich, high-quality fat content.
At the venue, we will be selling items such as the "Strait Salmon Bowl," which allows you to enjoy plenty of the Strait salmon, as well as the fragrant, lightly grilled "Strait Salmon Skewers."
Please enjoy the flavors nurtured by the sea of Aomori, right here in Hibiya, Tokyo.

Aomori's ramen culture has also made its way to Hibiya Park.
From "Men-dokoro Niboshi-ka," comes "Rich Niboshi Soba," which condenses the delicious flavor of dried sardines.
In Aomori, ramen made with dried sardines has been popular for a long time, and its unique aroma and deep umami flavor have made it one of Aomori's representative food cultures, with many fans both inside and outside the prefecture.
Furthermore, they plan to sell "Miso Curry Milk Ramen," a soul food of Aomori City that combines the richness of miso, the spiciness of curry, and the creaminess of milk.
