Artglorieux GALLERY OF TOKYO, an art gallery operated by Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store on the 5th floor of GINZA SIX, will hold a solo exhibition by calligrapher Takeda Soun titled "Space Love ~Cosmo~" from Thursday, December 12th, 2024 to Wednesday, December 25th, 2024.
In this exhibition, Takeda, who has been fascinated by space since childhood, will present new works on the theme of the connection and harmony between space and humans.

■Artist statement : "I have been fascinated by the universe since I was a child, and I have realized that we receive its blessings every day. 'Cosmo' also means 'harmony,' and I see the universe as something that heals our mental turmoil and feelings of isolation. I would be happy if as many people as possible could feel the 'love of the universe.'"
■ Takeda Soun
Born in Kumamoto in 1975, he graduated from Tokyo University of Science and started working at NTT. Three years later, he became an independent calligrapher and has created many famous works, including the title of the NHK historical drama "Tenchijin." He has published over 60 works and has been active both in Japan and abroad in recent years as a contemporary artist. He has exhibited at international art events such as Art Zurich and Volta Basel. In Japan, his solo exhibitions at GINZA SIX, Daimaru Matsuzakaya stores, and other locations have been very successful.
