■Exhibition Contents <br /> The Ars [technology, Latin origin of the word ART] required of modern people who are said to be digital natives and move freely between multiple devices, social media, the metaverse, and reality may be to perceive the world as multiple, not one, and enjoy the voyage. We will express ourselves more richly and multi-layeredly through the stimulation we receive in each of our worlds and how we behave there. We will exhibit works by young artists who are experimenting with a way of creating worlds that is different from pre-collage* and mirror worlds**.
(Curated by Keiichiro Tao)
* A concept introduced by cultural anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss in his 1962 book The Concept of Wildness. In French, it means "making something with one's own hands using available tools and materials."
※※A mirror image world that exists in a virtual space where the real world has been digitized

Buri
<Brief biography>
Born in 2000, he began creating acrylic paintings after being invited to join the art club by his high school art teacher in 2017. He had been impressed by surrealism even before joining the club, and almost all of his work to this day is influenced by it.
In 2019, he switched to oil painting and began to focus on his own face as a motif. In 2020, he switched to watercolor painting and began to draw mainly his own hands and feet in sketchbook-sized drawings. Over the next three years, he continued to draw hands and feet, but they went beyond the scope of practice and became an essential element of his work. In 2023, he began to draw his own body as a motif on large-sized canvases in order to create something that could be called a work of art rather than a practice.
