An experiential complex that combines Japanese cultural experiences, cafes, Japanese cuisine, and merchandise sales
LPC JAPAN STUDIO, operated by Marusan Co., Ltd., was created as a place where anyone can casually experience and deepen their understanding of Japanese culture, from foreigners experiencing it for the first time to Japanese people who want to re-experience it in their daily lives. The first store, which opened in Asakusa in October last year, received a great response as a Japanese cultural experience that "eat, feel, and remember." The Ginza flagship store, which will open this time, will further develop this initiative and be born as a base that integrates a wider variety of cultural experiences with food and merchandise.
A space where you can learn about Japanese culture in three dimensions through experiences, food, and merchandise
At our Ginza flagship store, we have gathered together Japanese cultural experiences (workshops), a cafe/Japanese cuisine, and merchandise in one space, allowing visitors to learn about and savor Japanese culture through these experiences and take home memories. Rather than each experience being completed in isolation, we have designed the store to allow visitors to experience Japanese culture in a more three-dimensional way by loosely linking culture, food, and shopping. We have taken care to ensure that no prior knowledge or preparation is required to participate, and we offer cultural experiences in a way that makes them more accessible.
Japanese culture experience (workshop)
We offer a wide range of programs from traditional Japanese culture to pop culture, including tea ceremony, Japanese sweets making, manga, ukiyo-e coloring, kumiki coaster making, oshi-nui (stitching), ninja, and yukata dressing. Each program is carefully supported by instructors, so even beginners and foreign visitors to Japan can participate with confidence.

Cafe/Japanese cuisine (MATCHA CAFE & STUDIO/Gohan Meijin)
In addition to a cafe menu that offers a casual and enjoyable Japanese experience, such as matcha latte and pancakes made with matcha, the cafe also has a Japanese cuisine space that serves Japanese dishes such as rice balls and raw egg on rice.
The rice used is Nita Koshihikari rice, which has won a gold medal at a competition, and is cooked fresh in-house. The eggs used for the raw egg rice bring out the flavor of the ingredients. This makes it a place where you can casually enjoy Japanese food in between cultural experiences, before and after, and enriches your experience at the facility.
Merchandise (products that allow you to experience Japanese culture)
We have a wide selection of items that allow you to experience Japanese culture, including ukiyo-e prints, Japanese goods, traditional crafts, ninja goods, and tea ceremony utensils. You can take home the charm of Japan that you have experienced through your cultural experience as a memento, and our lineup is easy to choose from, not only for yourself but also as souvenirs for loved ones. We also carry products and sweets with character motifs, making it easy for a wide range of generations to pick up, from visitors to families.
