Tabelog’s Top 100 Restaurant “Kurobuta Fukuya” Makes Its First Tokyo Debut: Bringing Kyushu’s No. 1 “Tonkatsu” (Pork Cutlet) Quality to Ginza Corridor Street

Bringing the charm of Kagoshima, a treasure trove of ingredients, from Ginza to the world.

StyLe Co., Ltd., whose management philosophy is "to increase the number of people who enjoy eating and drinking," will open "Kurobuta Fukuya," a sister restaurant to "Tonkatsu and Shabu-Shabu Kurobuta Fukuya," which was selected as one of Tabelog's "Top 100 Restaurants," in Ginza Corridor Street on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

"Tonkatsu and Shabu-Shabu. Kurobuta Fukuya," which has its main store in Kagoshima Prefecture, known as the sacred land of Kurobuta pork, is a popular restaurant that was selected as one of the "Top 100 Tonkatsu Restaurants of 2026" by Tabelog, Japan's largest gourmet website.

The new store opening in Ginza Corridor Street will be our third location, following our main store and annex in Kagoshima City, and will be our first store in Tokyo.

Introducing "Tonkatsu and Shabu-Shabu: Kurobuta Fukuya"

Opened in 2021, "Tonkatsu and Shabu-Shabu: Kurobuta Fukuya" is renowned as "the Kurobuta restaurant with the longest lines in Kagoshima," and enjoys support from a wide range of customers, from locals to tourists.

In the "Tonkatsu" category on Tabelog, we have received a rating of "3.76," which is currently the highest rating in the Kyushu region. On Google Maps, we have received 2,087 reviews and have a rating of "4.6" (both on Tabelog and Google as of August 10, 2016).

Menu of "Kurobuta Fukuya"

"Kurobuta Fukuya," a sister restaurant of "Tonkatsu and Shabu-Shabu Kurobuta Fukuya," which boasts immense popularity in the Kyushu region, features "Charcoal-grilled Shabu-Shabu" and "Kurobuta Tonkatsu," both made with the finest Kurobuta pork, as its signature dishes.

Our tonkatsu, which has been selected as one of Tabelog's "Top 100 Restaurants," is made with the highest quality Kurobuta pork from Kagoshima, which is aged for a certain period of time.

Experience the "smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture and elegant sweetness," the "deep umami that spreads with every bite," and the "contrast between the crispy coating and the juicy meat," all achieved through meticulous control of meat aging, breadcrumbs, frying oil, and frying temperature.

Our shabu-shabu, which luxuriously uses "Rokuhaku Pork," the finest pork from Kagoshima Prefecture, and "Kita Satsuma Takasaki Beef," a specially selected Kuroge Wagyu beef characterized by its fine marbling, is cooked over charcoal that is heated in-house.

Pork cooked slowly over charcoal not only locks in the flavor but also results in an incredibly tender texture. Another characteristic is that, because the flavor and moisture don't escape, it creates a clear broth without any scum.

The broth for the shabu-shabu is based on dried Sakurajima radish, and uses bonito flakes from Makurazaki, Kagoshima, which are shaved in-house using a special shaver to an extremely thin "0.01 mm".

The "Rokuhaku Pork" and "Kita Satsuma Takasaki Beef," enveloped in the aroma of bonito flakes, are served with our special "Sesame Ponzu Sauce," a blend of ponzu and sesame sauce. This is a blissful dish where the flavors of the ingredients blend together perfectly.

For our shabu-shabu, we select shoulder loin, which has an exquisite balance of fat and lean meat, and serve it in thick, hand-cut slices. Because the meat is hand-cut, the cross-section is wavy, allowing the broth to cling to it easily, so you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of both the broth and the meat.

A menu that fully showcases the charm of Kagoshima, a treasure trove of ingredients.

In addition to our main menu items, "Kurobuta Pork Cutlet" and "Charcoal-Grilled Shabu-Shabu," we also offer a variety of other dishes that allow you to fully enjoy the charm of Kagoshima, a treasure trove of ingredients, including our signature katsu curry, pork steak, and beef cutlets and steaks made with "Kita Satsuma Takasaki Beef."

We offer a menu perfect for both dinner and lunchtime.

Aiming to be a restaurant that promotes Japanese food culture to the world.

Located in the Ginza Corridor area, frequented by a wide range of customers from office workers to tourists visiting Japan, "Kurobuta Fukuya" aims to become a restaurant loved by many.
