The restaurant on the second floor of the Kochi Prefecture antenna shop will reopen on Saturday, October 31st. The name of the restaurant is “Kochi no Gochisoudokoro Okyaku”.

The Kochi Prefecture Local Products and Trade Promotion Foundation, which operates the antenna shop for Kochi Prefecture in Ginza, Tokyo, will reopen its second-floor restaurant, which has been closed since July 6th, on Saturday, October 31st.
The restaurant has been directly operated by our corporation since its opening in 2010, but we have now decided to entrust its operation to a private company and will be renovating the premises.
The restaurant's name will be changed to "Kochi no Gochisoudokoro Okyaku," and the interior and menu will be completely revamped, giving it a fresh new look.

The new store will be operated by Yoriki Suisan Co., Ltd., a company based in Sukumo City, Kochi Prefecture, that engages in fixed-net fishing and other related activities. In addition to conducting its own fixed-net fishing operations, the company handles a wide range of products, including seafood, agricultural products, and livestock, from purchasing at production sites to processing, distribution, and export.
Since 2014, we have had a shop in the Tsukiji Outer Market, supplying Kochi fish to hotels and restaurants in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Our discerning eye for quality has earned us the trust of chefs at high-end hotels and restaurants.

While partially retaining the name of the previous restaurant, which has been loved by many Kochi fans and people from Kochi Prefecture in Ginza for the past 16 years, this new restaurant will be operated by a local company that knows Kochi ingredients inside and out, aiming to provide a restaurant where you can enjoy dishes that are even more particular about ingredients than before.
Furthermore, driven by a strong desire to revitalize Kochi, we will actively engage in the export of Kochi Prefecture's food products, primarily seafood, through the operation of our antenna shop, as well as disseminating information about Kochi.

[Regarding the store name and logo design]
~The thoughts behind "Kochi's Gourmet Spots"~
We wanted this to be more than just a place to enjoy local cuisine; it's a place where you can encounter the bounty of Kochi's sea, mountains, and rivers, and the charm of the producers who cultivate them.
The logo is designed so that it can be read the moment you see the shop name, "Okyaku".
Prioritizing readability and visibility, the handwritten, vertically written design expresses both the warmth and sophistication of "Okyaku."
