In Kajima Art (Tokyo · Kyobashi), held “Saigo Takamori and Works of the Hero as Seen from the Book of the Edo Episode ~ Work” from July 16 (Monday) to July 22 (Sun) I will do. The end of the Tokugawa shogunate is the collective name of the three nobles who have the character of “boat” in their name, such as Katsuhiroki, Takahashi Munebo, Yamaoka Tetsuobu. This year is the year of the 150th anniversary since the Meiji Restoration. At the milestone of this milestone, we decided to hold a wedding exhibition of Saigo Takamori (Nansu) and the Bakumatsu Sanko (Katsuhiro, Takahashi Munebo, Yamaoka Tetsuke).

In addition, along with the holding of this exhibition, “The Bakumati-goten watermelon appraisal meeting” was launched. In this “Bakumati-goten watermelon appraisal meeting”, we will examine the works of the Edo period, including Katsuhiro, Takahashi Muneho, Yamaoka Tetsubo, Tokugawa Yoshinobu. We also accept consultations such as wanting to know the authenticity of your work.

■ Concept of “Saigo Takamori and Book of the Shogunate at the End of the Bakumatsu”

This year marking the 150th year since the Meiji Restoration, we will set up opportunities to face up again to their autographs that were active at the end of the Tokugawa period, in a year that can be said as the year of this milestone. Its significance is to convey the messages they embarked over the ruins of the transformation period of the times. For those of us who are going to end the Heisei era, they should help us to explore the direction to go. At the same time, I hope that this exhibition will contribute to reevaluation of pioneers related to the restoration.

■ Highlight of this exhibition

Saigo Takamori (Nansu) and the Bakumatsu Sanshu (Katsuhiro, Takahashi Munebo, Yamaoka Tetsuyu), they became the Meiji world and took many books. This exhibition is interesting to compare with those of four people who survive strongly the world of the Edo era and open up the future of Japan. A revelation to heaven and earth, as typified by the word “devotee lover”, a book written in South Africa full of charity, a book of free and vigorous navy from a global perspective, a mudstone penetrating his aspiration with spiritual law A frank book, a book of a steady ironboat thoroughly devoted to swordsmanship and Zen. By enjoying the difference of literary style, you can feel a sense of one of them.

In the year of Meiji Restoration 150 years, these opportunities to unite together are extremely valuable.
