Ginza International Luxury Committee (abbreviated GILC, abbreviated name Giruku) organized in 24 international luxury brands that have a flagship store in Ginza / Chuo Dori, Harumi Avenue, and the Ginza International Luxury Committee So this year we will hold "Ginza Short Film Contest". Regardless of professional or amateurs, we recruit about 5 minutes of video work from the general public, and we will present prizes to winning works such as Best Work Awards. "Ginza city" that repeats tradition and innovation becomes the first video contest to recruit new talent.

"Ginza" has developed as a central commercial area of Tokyo and Japan until now. The growing figure is never bound formally nor keeps the tradition but always accepts the trends of the new era and continues to evolve while harmonizing. This "Ginza Short Film Contest" is a contest operated by the entire town of "Ginza" which is the base of sending such a state-of-the-art culture. As a place where new talent who will be responsible for the next generation gathers and challenges, we will recruit works from the public in general regardless of professional or amateur. We hope to live by further raising the value of Ginza by raising this "Ginza Short Film Contest" as a new attractive content of Ginza and disseminating it to domestic and overseas.

● The first recruitment theme is "Type and Tenryu"

Ginza, a city with various art spots such as galleries, movie theaters, theaters and Kabukiza stations. In this town, many artists have received the traditional type and have brought up a new art culture while covering that type.
It is not necessary that the shooting place is Ginza. Please express your "type and fisting" with your own unique image. The total schedule provision, including title and end credits, is within 5 minutes.

As a jury, Tetsuya Bessho and Mr. Hiroyuki Nakano who is the director of the movie director, was appointed as a judge for the International Academy Awards' International Short Film Festival 'Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia'.

● An awarding ceremony scheduled for late May

The deadline for entry is 18:00 on Friday, April 26, 2019. After the selection period after that, we will hold an award ceremony at the venue of Ginza in late May. (Venue is currently being adjusted)

● Best prize works are screened at a prize of 2 million yen and "Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2019"

The total prize money is 3 million yen. The best work (1 point) will be presented at the "Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2019" besides presenting the highest class of domestic video contests of 2 million yen.
Besides that, we will give out excellent works (1 point) 500,000 yen, judges special award (1 point) 300,000 yen, Ginza prize (1 point) 100,000 yen, GILC award (1 point) 100,000 yen prize.

● Calligrapher Manami appointed for the promotion movie and key visual title of the contest

To write the promotion movie and the key visual title of the contest to be held for the first time, calligrapher Mami Mami is appointed. Manami is a style that incorporates elements of street culture such as hip hop into traditional calligraphy, and he is active in domestic and overseas. In this video, we will receive a traditional model, crossover between Godzilla who creates a new art culture while overtyping its type and Ginza that continues to grow with tradition and innovation replacing new chemical reactions, and I express the world view of "type and fist".
