"Swimmy" and "Frederick" picture book writer Leo Leoni's concept cafe, which will be published in the textbook, will be held from April 3 (Wed) to July 31 (Wed), ahead of the original exhibition held in Tokyo this summer. Ginza "Marronnier Gate Ginza 1" will be open for a limited time. This is the world's first attempt to collaborate with Leo Leoni and Cafe.
We have succeeded in collaboration with "Shaps of sheep" and "Harapeko Omushi", and will be a tag with "Delicious collaboration cafe" and Sunday branch of reputation. The shop interior is colorfully decorated with picture book characters and there is no doubt that children and adults will dance!
This time, a part of the original menu that will be developed all 13 will be announced! The menu to be unveiled this time is a representative of "Swimy", an item inspired by a scene in which the main character of "Frederick" is collecting colors in warm light and one fish and only one black fish swimmy looks at you One item that imagined a funny scene. Leo Leoni (1910-1999)
Born in 1910 in the Netherlands. Although living in Italy, when World War II starts, Leoni who is a Jew exiles to the United States. He worked as an illustrator and graphic designer. In 1959, he made his picture book writer debut with "Akun and Irochan," which he produced for his grandchildren. After that, about 40 picture books have been published, and many works have been translated in Japan. His major works include "Swimmy", "Frederick", "Jinbaniro" and "Cornelius".

A plate inspired by Cornelius teaching monkeys to hang on a tree. I used a spinach curry and tandoori chicken, which are related to Leo Leoni's picture book production, to see the river where Cornelius lives.
