【CIBONE】YUKI FUJISAWA’s POP UP event will be held at CIBONE CASE (Ginza).

In addition to YUKI FUJISAWA's standard items, several limited-edition items created by unraveling the shop concept of CIBONECASE will be on display, including original letter sets, inks, and notebooks.

From Saturday, May 2nd, a pop-up shop for artist Yuki Fujisawa's textile/design label "YUKI FUJISAWA" will be held at CIBONE CASE (Ginza).

Established in 2012, "YUKI FUJISAWA" explores themes of "memory, time, and aging," developing expressions that transcend the boundaries of clothing, crafts, and art. A distinctive feature is its unique production method, which uses vintage knits, secondhand clothing, and lace as bases, applying handcrafted techniques such as foil processing, dyeing, and embroidery. Focusing on materials that have aged over time, YUKI FUJISAWA reconstructs them into one-of-a-kind products through these handcrafted processes. By utilizing the background and memories inherent in the materials, they create art pieces, each with its own unique character.

This is the first pop-up event at CIBONE. Fujisawa's creations, which carefully incorporate what she sees, hears, and feels in her daily life into her handcrafted work, are like heartfelt letters written to a loved one. Therefore, the theme of this pop-up is "Dear/From YUKI FUJISAWA," and it is structured around the theme of "letters."

Focusing on physical elements found in letters, such as stamps, postmarks, and handwriting, the exhibition reinterprets YUKI FUJISAWA's craftsmanship, using time, memories, and the act of conveying feelings to someone as a perspective. In addition to "NEW VINTAGE," art pieces that apply dyes and foil to vintage T-shirts and tote bags, which are staple items of the brand, a total of 15 works will be on display, including limited-edition items created based on the theme of this exhibition and the concept of CIBONE CASE (Ginza).

YUKI FUJISAWA
This textile label creates one-of-a-kind fashion through handcrafted work, such as vintage clothing adorned with foil and dyes, and Aran knitwear hand-knitted by artisans. They offer custom repairs, similar to Kintsugi (gold repair), where holes and stains that appear from use are repaired by layering foil, giving new life to existing items and creating new value. Recent activities include the title sequence for the NHK serial drama "Okaeri Mone" (2021), the joint exhibition with Karimoku Furniture "New Old Karimoku" (2025), and costume design (for Ichiko Aoba, Ayano Kaneko, and the theater group Mam & Gypsy), expanding the range of expression centered on textiles. In 2025, they published the book "Knitting Myself: The Power to Create, in My Hands – YUKI FUJISAWA's Production Diary".
