■ Background of the collaboration At "Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo", as an event that embodies the brand, we have held regular pop-ups with artists in the public area "Library Lounge". Collaboration with artists, the city of Ginza, and people who are active in the neighborhood, with the theme of each event being "media," "fashion," "landscape," and "entertainment," which are the four design concepts of the hotel. I am doing.
This time, we will carry out a special collaboration with artist itu'who is active all over the world, mainly in Paris, France, and will exhibit installation art that expresses the historical history and future of the hotel from 2018 to 2022. In the work produced this time, as the history of the hotel so far, the time of 5 years at Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo is converted into keywords and expressed on 5 canvases. And the future is expressed by two canvases and a three-dimensional object, and the concept of time is confined in this space. While looking back on the evolution of the hotel with the powerful colors and delicate brushstrokes by Mr. itu', the artistic world of Mr. itu' is full of colors in the exciting space of Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo. The theme of this time is "time", but I took time as a very lightweight thing and created it with an approach that dilutes the tightly fixed concept.
No matter where you live in the world, each time is flowing, and even if you advance the hands of the clock according to the same principle, the sense of time that drifts in each is totally different depending on the place and situation. Although the field is different, time dilation is explained in the theory of relativity, and I feel that it is good to ask a question to the concept of time that has been constructed as a matter of course in daily life. .. I would be very happy if you could enjoy these works in your own way at Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo, a place in Japan where you can feel the flow of time a little differently from Japan.

Itu'is one of the important families who loves our hotel, not only because he has done a lot of artwork in the hotel, such as applying colorful and relaxed paint. is.

■ About collaborative artist itu' <br /> An artist who is active in the world based in Paris, France. Designing basic items that suit your lifestyle with your own creative philosophy. We draw art with original hand paint one by one, and pursue manufacturing that makes use of the organic and highly flexible touch that cannot be expressed by printing or stitching.
In 2014, he set up his own atelier and gallery store in the Marais district of Paris and started his artist activities. He launched his own brand "itu'", set up a directly managed store in Paris, and released works one after another.
