·overview

Akira Kusaka is an illustrator who depicts fantastical worlds with calm colors and a delicate touch. He continues to work in a wide range of fields, including book illustrations and product packaging design.

This will be the artist's third exhibition at Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore, and this time he will be showcasing prints including new works with the theme of "night scenes." The main visual, "The Beginning of Night," was painted while imagining what it would be like if night were born from an egg-like place somewhere. For the artist, night is the time when stories begin, and he expresses the image of constellations and stars hatching all at once from a night egg when the sun sets. Please enjoy a night story that begins somewhere far away, not here.

Other items that he has illustrated, such as 2025 calendars and stickers, will also be available in stores.
