A new museum where visitors can encounter creations from a wide range of fields has opened in Kyobashi, Tokyo. The opening will feature a large-scale exhibition focusing on the first “pillars” from the anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” which has been gaining more and more attention with the announcement of a movie version.

We will hold approximately four large-scale exhibitions per year, offering special experiences in the heart of Tokyo.

CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO (CMT) is a museum where you can experience the "works" and "artists" as well as the "process" that led to them in a large space. Located on the 6th floor of TODA BUILDING, which will open on November 2nd, the large exhibition room will hold exhibitions on pop culture such as anime, manga, and music, as well as contemporary art and design, and the museum shop and museum cafe will offer original goods and menus for each exhibition.

The opening will be a large-scale exhibition of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" , called "Hashira Exhibition – And to Infinity Castle" !
From now on, we will continue to provide opportunities to encounter creations from a wide range of fields in the heart of Tokyo.

CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO CAFE, located next to the venue overlooking Chuo-dori, has a theme of "transformation" and will offer a variety of original menus related to the contents of each exhibition during the exhibition period. It is operated by LTR, which has worked on many theme cafes. Please enjoy unique and delicious food and drinks. In addition, a rich grand menu will be prepared so that you can use it even during the exhibition change period.

Experience the charm and thoughts of the Demon Slayer Corps' strongest swordsmen, the "pillars"

The anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba", loved by a wide range of generations, is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which has sold over 150 million copies in Shueisha Jump Comics volumes 1 to 23. The animation is produced by ufotable. Five years after the broadcast of "Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc", the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc" was announced after the final episode of the "Hashira Training Arc" aired in May this year, and it has been attracting a lot of attention.

This exhibition is the first in the Demon Slayer anime series to focus on the "pillars," the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps .
The strongest swordsmen who carry on the will of the Demon Slayer Corps, who have been fighting against Kibutsuji Muzan for a thousand years.
This exhibition will explore the charms of the nine pillars in various ways, focusing on their individual personalities and thoughts, and take you towards Infinity Castle along with the thoughts of the "pillars."

◆ An overwhelming amount of material that captures the charm of the "pillars" <br /> Various things drawn over the five years of the anime will be gathered together to create a three-dimensional representation of the pillars in a large space of about 1,200 m2 and 5 m high ceilings. Through an exhibition of about 1,000 original drawings that capture the expressions of the characters, as well as various video exhibits, the overwhelming amount of material will allow you to get a deeper feel for the presence of the pillars.

◆ Audio experience that touches on the charm of the “pillars” and admission benefits available to all visitors <br /> By holding up the “pillar card” you receive upon admission over the corresponding area, you can enjoy an exhibition where you can experience the pillar’s famous quote, as well as a corner where the pillar you selected introduces the other pillars through audio recorded specially for this exhibition.
What is a "Hashirafuda"? It is a card-shaped admission benefit with an illustration of a pillar on it. When you enter, you can choose one of the nine pillars and receive it. By using the "Hashirafuda", you can enjoy a special audio experience of the pillar you chose.

◆Theme Cafe <br /> The "CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO CAFE", located adjacent to the venue, will operate the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime Hashira Exhibition – And to the Infinity Castle – Cafe produced by ufotable Cafe" during the duration of the exhibition. A collaborative menu unique to CMT CAFE will be offered, focusing on each of the nine pillars.

The story begins with a boy, Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slayer Corps in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human. The series began airing the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Tanjiro Kamado: Unwavering Resolve Arc in April 2019, followed by the release of the movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" in October 2020, and the TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Mugen Train Arc and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Entertainment District Arc" from 2021 to 2022.
