The popular event, "DO CATS!" will be held for the third time! We will be selling works by artists with cat motifs, bags, miscellaneous goods, antiques, pottery, cat supplies, and more. We will also be holding a portrait workshop on the weekends only!
N+Ecology, a goods brand for cats and humans run by Collect Co., Ltd., will hold a pop-up event called "DO CATS! vol.3" on the 3rd floor of Matsuya Ginza from February 19th (Wed) to 25th (Tue) to coincide with "Cat Day" on February 22nd. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to cat protection organizations.
The third installment of the popular event among cat lovers!
DO CATS! (#Let's be cats) is the keyword for this cat-filled festival.
This is the third time we are holding this event, and we will be holding a week-long Cat Festival at Matsuya Ginza, centered around February 22nd, which is also known as "Cat Day."
The store offers a carefully selected lineup of items, including works by artists with a cat motif, bags, miscellaneous goods, antiques, pottery, and cat supplies.
In addition, at the weekend-only portrait event, you can have a portrait drawn not only of yourself but also of your cat.
Let's spend some fun time surrounded by cats together with the motto "#Let'sBeCats".

I create cats by hand-carving each piece from a new type of wood called chemiwood. I am a self-proclaimed cat sculptor who can only carve cats. At the end of 2023, I went to Cat Island in the Seto Inland Sea to research cats, and all of my motifs are cats from Cat Island. I put a cute, friendly, wild cat in a walnut. Please enjoy using it as a talisman or just looking at it to feel soothed.

Started ceramics in 1992, and has exhibited and sold works at various events and exhibitions since then. Started creating murals in 2007. Works on interior murals for hospitals, pharmacies, general stores, etc. in and outside Nagasaki Prefecture. Draws illustrations such as illustrations for books. Creates works using a variety of materials, from flat to three-dimensional objects such as objects and accessories. Since 2018, has been a lecturer in project classes (art and crafts) at Kamimura Gakuen Omura Learning Center. Has operated gallery-shop CRANE (Nagasaki City) since 2020, will close in December 2024.
