We are pleased to announce that Leica Gallery Tokyo and Leica Gallery Kyoto will be holding a photo exhibition titled "Roots" by actor Tamaki Hiroshi, who has a rich expressiveness and sensitivity and continues to express himself through photography.
Tamaki chose Nishinoshima Town, Oki District, Shimane Prefecture, where his grandfather was born and raised, as his subject. Preserving the scenery as seen through his grandfather's eyes, he connects the proof of his life to the future. Cherish the time spent fondly thinking of the things you love, and enjoy the beautiful scenery captured by Leica and the gentle flow of time, a worldview that will make you happy.

Born January 14, 1980 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Actor and occasional photographer.
Since getting his hands on a Leica M4-2 in the year he was born in his mid-20s, he has been fascinated with cameras and the world of photography, and continues to express himself through photography.
