Matsuya Ginza is holding its 8th annual "Knitting Happiness: Martina and the Magical Yarn Fair" from Wednesday, January 21st to Tuesday, January 27th, 2026. (On the first day, Wednesday, January 21st, purchases will be limited to Matsuya card members.)
Martina, who spreads the "happiness of yarn," will once again bring her world of yarn to the Matsuya Ginza 8th floor Event Square. Come and share the joy of yarn!
In addition, to coincide with the event, a set product recommended by Martina will be on sale at Matsuya Online for those who live far away or find it difficult to go out.

Oscar's Closet 2
Introducing the second knitting kit, "Oscar's Closet 2," which includes costume recipes and yarn for KFS' mascot, Oscar, and his friends!
The packaging box becomes a "closet" for storing the finished work, and the concept remains the same, allowing you to enjoy the work even after it is completed. The Closet 2 recipe booklet includes "Your Size Recipe" in addition to Oscar size. Have fun knitting, wearing, and wearing matching knitwear with Zebra and friends!

<Workshop & Knitting Session>
We will be holding a workshop and knitting event where you can share the fun time of knitting items using Opal Yarn. Applications for participation will be accepted at the venue from the first day of the event for the entire schedule.

Martina Umemura
She came to Japan as a medical researcher in 1987. Immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake, she sent yarn to evacuation centers across Tohoku, which led to her founding Umemura Martina Kesennuma FS Atelier (KFS) in March 2012. She is currently working to expand the "circle of friends knitting happiness."
